I’m embarking on a musical journey. I have begun this journey with no money, no recording equipment, little prior recording knowledge, and few contacts. But, and that’s a big but, I’m armed with a PASSION for recording music. Isn’t that all I need? The answer is a resounding yes!
I will become a well-respected, revered and highly-influential producer/engineer. I have to take the necessary steps to get there and I have a lot to learn, though. This is where Recording Mecca comes in. This will be a chronicle of my learning process. Consider it my own little recording diary. Whatever I learn, you will know about it. What you’ll be reading will include, but is not limited to: gear reviews, recording techniques, interviews with recording professionals (locally and nationally), running a recording business and all aspects thereof, and anything else you or I can think of that encompasses the industry of recording.
This will be your source for all things recording. Updates will happen regularly, so you should check back regularly.
